comfort

I'm living so comfortably by myself nowadays, which was not what I was expecting.
Back in uni days, I had a year where I was basically living alone and it ruined my mental health pretty badly. It was the height of COVID, I wasn't seeing anyone, and classes were so tough online that I almost thought of quitting college entirely. Made it through though. So when I realized I was choosing to live another year alone but this time in my own apartment, I admit I was a little scared.
Now, I think it was the best thing that ever fucking happened to me.
I have a home theater to watch new and personal favorite movies! I'm listening to new music! I got some cool tattoos and I have the ability to get more! I also have time and space to read and play guitar more, which I've been doing! AHHH.
Other than that, things have been pretty steady. I watched a live to picture of Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse in a fancy theater with a long-time friend. Went to a cafe that serves as an art exhibit and a place to eat really good shwarma (honestly sad I didn't take pictures when I went). Met with old friends from the library I used to work in (they all inspire me when I meet them, super cool people). And of course, still stuck on writing my story and failing to plan it. We'll get there eventually.
