This had to be for merchandising, but the episode was decent. Also, really cool to see Bardock become technically the first Super Saiyan in his timeline. We also got to see some compassion from him with Berry, which was heartwarming.

I feel like Bardock's story could get interesting if they committed him to a show with good writing. If we saw his compassionate side slowly appear, and not so random like in this episode, I would love Bardock as a character more.
