Finally seeing the events before the end of Planet Vegeta was nice. Bardock seems flat in terms of personality, but in his lore, he has so many interesting things about him. His headband is red from the blood of his dead friend, he's the only Saiyan that stood up to Freeza, he has powers to see the future, and he's seen as a formidable warrior even as a low-class Saiyan.

Also the OST "Solid State Scouter" works so well for Bardock.
