This was a damn good movie to get some Piccolo moments in. He's a badass character with loads of potential, and they showcase his contrast with Goku: clever, brutal, and a good father to Gohan (jk, but I had to joke about that). Of course, Goku ended up being the savior in the end. He had a moment where he went "fake Super Saiyan", so that was cool.

I thought the idea of planets being vehicles for Lord Slug was promising, and Gohan's cute whistle song was adorable. Twas a good watch!
