Besides going bat-shit crazy over the fairy tale aesthetic of the animation, I really enjoyed the tone of the movie. Whenever it was supposed to be funny, the jokes were hilarious. Whenever there was a serious fight, I was clinging onto the chair while the characters were hacking and slashing at each other. I really really enjoyed Death as a character. He's badass, snarky, and an interestingly ambiguous character because of his nature. Also the voice for him was really well chosen, I love it.
