As the 2nd original Dragon Ball movie, this one does a little better than the first one. The retelling aspect of the anime lore is died down a little, and the new original story takes more of the focus. There's more content on Krillin and Goku's friendship, which is a win for a Krillin stan like me. The fighting animation is nice too. It's a good watch!
