The movie that every son gohan fan was waiting for ever since the cell saga. This movie did him justice by highlighting his pacifist personality (which is a lot more interesting than Goku's), and showcasing his fighting potential for the future. Gohan has always been teased to have this potential to surpass his dad, but I think the people who made the show chickened out in having him be the main star.

So many things made me squeal. Gohan's beast form. Broly's appearances (I loved him in the last movie). The goofiness of the original series. The Gammas as villians. Seeing Gohan in his surrogate dad's (Piccolo's) clothes again made my inner child so happy.

This movie made me interested in DB again after a long hiatus.
