An unassuming man who works in a museum gift shop, and has a goldfish as his best friend. Being just a huge nerd for Egyptology, Steven is no threat to anyone around him, and only wishes for company (a lover, basically). So imagine his surprise when he finds out he's one of the many alters in a system who all possess superpowers to save the world.
Steven is, by far, the most comedic out of the three alters. He never knows what's going on, and ends up catching himself in unpredictable situations where he has no control. But Egyptology fun facts? He's got them. Knowledge of how to solve ancient puzzles? He's your guy.
As the alter who was shielded away from abuse, Steven is expected to be the happiest in the system. However, he ends up struggling in daily life from not knowing what's going on; believing that he suffers from a sleeping disorder that affects all his relationships in life.
But by the end, he figures it out. He brings a clear sense of humanity and compassion, and ends up caring for Marc, who suffers alone with his past and learns to appreciate Steven in his life.
