Death Masks (Jim Butcher)

It took months to finish this book because I started it at a busy time in my life, so the story is hazy to me. But I really enjoyed a lot of the new characters, particularly the Knights of the Cross.
Michael is a cool returning character who's a good friend of Dresden, always there to help when his friend needs him. Shiro (a new character) is a badass old man who's really compassionate to Dresden, and Sanya has an interesting dark past. They're just cool!
It was also interesting to see Marcone's reason for being the crime boss he is. He's potentially one of my favorite characters.

The Russian grinned. "Was that a quarter you gave Cassius?"
"Yeah."
"For the phone?"
"Yeah."
Michael noted, "Phone calls cost more than that now."
I slouched back and allowed myself a small smile. "Yeah. I know."
Sanya and Michael burst out laughing. Michael pounded on the steering wheel.
I didn't join them, but I enjoyed their laughter while I could.
